Many of you have probably already become familiar with the site Instructables.com. It’s a place where folks go to get plans and step by steps on projects. All kinds of projects.
We stumbled upon this pretty cool CNC scissor chair. It’s not exactly one of a kind, mind you, but James McBennett, the founder of Fabsie — where consumers can buy a scissor chair — happens to have made the world’s second scissor chair.
How cool is this piece of furniture? It requires one sheet of 1/2″ plywood and a CNC machine. And that’s it. There’s no gluing, no hardware and no additional parts.
Take a peek at designer Phil Seaton’s CNC Scissor Chair page on Instructables.com for more details.
Very cool!
