Call For Entries 2012

The Next StepIn re-connecting and educating the buying public

Update!

We have been receiving many requests for extensions on the December 31st deadline. So, to accommodate as many makers as possible, and still meet our internal deadlines, we have extended the Entries Deadline to Jan 31st, 2012.

Seaport World Trade Center – 200 Seaport Blvd – Boston – Feb 23-26, 2012

Call for Entries Deadline December 31, 2011

The WoodExpo started in 2009 displaying the finely crafted furniture of Thomas J MacDonald. The New England Home Show organizers invited Tommy back for WoodExpo 2010 and again in 2011 where the event was open to everyone. Entries were submitted from all over the USA’s east coast. WoodExpo 2011 even had one entry from Europe.

The goal of WoodExpo 2012 is to build on the success of the prior WoodExpo’s  and help us all take The Next Step in re-connecting with and educating the buying public as to the qualities of finely crafted Furniture.

Being part of the New England Home Show is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your fine furniture design and fabricating skill-set. Exhibitor traffic is expected to be over 25,000 attendees.  Accepted entrants are gaining access to an audience looking specifically to buy.

All entries submitted will be reviewed for quality of design and craftsmanship. A limited number of entrants will be invited to display their work at WoodExpo 2012.

Each craftsperson juried into the show will be required to participate during the show: presenting either a technical demonstration or delivering a presentation related to other aspects of furniture design.

Those entrants accepted must be present during the entire WoodExpo.
