Missed the first few minutes of the "Old North Church, Wall Cabinet" episode. What kind of wood was Tommy building it out of? Thanks.

He used walnut. But that does not mean it's the only wood. Try a mixture of woods. Use what you have in your pile. If this is your first project go with poplar. Don't use pine. Pine is difficult to get crisp dovetails the first time. Good Luck.
