Jointer Adjustment

Tommy said the cutting head of the jointer should be level with the back table, that is not true: the cutting head needs to be just slightly higher then the fixed table, a hairs width or so. Try this, A wood worker for 35 years. Jeff

Jeff wouldn't that take off more material than what you set the infeed table to??

I would think so and yes you could adjust but.......
