Chapter 1: My Full Blind Miter Dovetail Adventure Begins.

Now that I have my Miter Jack built it was time to make my first ever attempt at full blind mitered dovetails. I found a piece of scrap wood laying about and cut off a couple of pieces for the test run.

Next step was to cut a rabbet in the end of each block. Then I layed out the pin/sockets.

After laying them out it was time to start cutting!

After cutting them all it was time to set up to chop out the sockets.

Here's the first socket emerging from hiding.

After the pins were all chiseled out, I used that board to layout for the tails. More on that later.

Hi Bruce.

Instead of full blind DT's, try banging your head against the wall real hard. I hear it gives you a similar feeling.
