Hi Folks,

Just wanted to throw this out there in case anyone is in the market for a fixed base/plunge base router kit. Looks like Home Depot has this kit on clearance, was $199, now $129. The HD in my area was out, but they sold me the display one for an extra 10% off, so I got a $199 2.25HP router kit for $116. :D It's a good upgrade for me since my other router only does 1/4" bits.

Called our local store and they thought I was out of my mind. Then the little light came on and the guy said, "you must mean in the American stores. It doesn't apply up here."

Sigh...

What the heck, it ain't the first time. I tried to order a magnetic inclinometer from Rockler when they had it n sale, only to find it couldn't be sent up here either. Something abut postal regs and magnets. Anyway, Lee Valley has them on sale here now. Everything comes to those who wait, but it's been almost 60 years now and I still don't have that pony! Darn that fat guy in red anyway.
