Over the weekend all of the contracts were signed and GBH gave it the green light. It is a 3 year deal with a possible extension. We start filming on Monday! The goal is to have it on air in October, but definitely sometime this fall. Hurray! And congratulations to Tommy!

Nice job Tommy! Now you need to sign up for some lessons from a vocal coach to get rid of that accent. ;)

CONGRATULATIONS, TOMMY!

How cool is THAT??? I look forward to it. But I just *now* I won't be able to watch it, because no satellite programming is allowed to carry the local channels here... <sigh...>

Time to set up a DVD sharing ring I think.

Or maybe they will podcast them at the end of the season the way the WoodWright Shop is done over and UNC's PBS station.

Perfect! - will that be legal??? Nothing else would work, as NO local channels are allowed in NW Missouri by the powers...

Sure don't want to wait till season's end to watch the podcasts, though :x

Perfect. I can finally uncross my fingers and get back to woodworking... Do you know if WGBH plans to syndicate the show? If not, tell us what we need to do to petition our local PBS stations to run it!

Woo Hoo!!!

Cool! I will be willing pay if they stream it, too. PLEASE let the powers that be know this, and feel free to give them my name and phone number, too, in case they wish to confirm. :D

Good things come to good people! Stop for a moment and think of all the good you have done for us. Your gift of knowledge has been and continues to come from your heart. You created what we have here and never once asked for anything in return. I am fortunate to be able to call you a friend.
The word "thanks" cannot begin to express my appreciation.
Can't wait to see you on the boob tube,
Chris

I'm told that, at the moment, they are planning to stream the show online. They don't know whether it will be permanent or just the most recent episodes, but it should be there. I'll let you know if things change.
