Seems to be all I'm getting orders for at the moment, this will be a a painted poplar robe with dovetailed ash drawer boxes and oak veneered casework. I kind of missed out a few steps but here goes.

Starting with the plinth base, I made this from 8x2

Then onto the casework.

Need to make a face frame for the front, so started in the drawer area.

Image

I then glued up the whole face frame into one piece.

Hung the doors.

And fitted the drawer fronts to the apertures.

That as far as I've got, but will update when finished/fitted. Thanks for looking.

Drawers......

Six to do, so I made a jig for my router, this just enables me to hog out the waste but still pare to the knife lines with my chisels.

Helps me dovetail quicker(more details on my blog if your interested)

Close up of the dovetails.

All done and dusted ready to fit and polish.

I've just finished installing this today. The paint is Farrow & Ball estate eggshell, and the face timber has been finished with hard wax oil.
