Campaign style drawer pull fitting. I Drilled 3 progressively smaller holes.

Sap wood is one of the reason I haven't posted a pick of the doors yet. As I planed the door panels down to thickness a couple sap streaks showed up.

I have enough extra stile and rail material, i may decide to redo them. I haven't decided yet if I want to redo them. I'm showing it at the EMGW show and tell in 10 days. Frankly the doors are going to live in the pockets 95% of the time, so I'm not sure its worth the stress to redo them right now.

The doors on your tool box are like the door to the front of your house, is there sap on that door?

Kinda like putting curb feelers on a Ferrari..

No pics, but I sanded and put the first coat of waterlox on today. I thought I sanded enough, but had some blotches to deal with.

Nice box. Like the doors. I was thinking about doing that or pull door. Can't wait to see how the doors look.

Question though, the drawer bottoms, they look a little thick. What are they about 5/8" thick. I think its more noticeable on the small drawers. I don't have the plans out so I don't know what it calls for.

Just the way it looks in the picture it looks very thick.

I drew up my own plans. I wanted the side doors to maximize drawer height. The smallest drawer is a bit more than1 5/8 tall, it should have ended up more like 1 3/4's for the hardware I chose. (operator error.)

I'm not entirely happy with the door design, I had to buy a flush bolt to fix one side of the door so it will lock properly.

I'm wondering if I should have made more smaller drawers.
