I just discovered Tommy and the website about 3 months ago and just can't get over how amazing the videos and content is. The way Tommy presents it is so refreshing.. Dude you are the man.

On the other hand I can't believe the lack of activity in the forum.. I don't understand. Anyways, Tommy are there any new projects coming up this year as a forum build? Just want an update on whats going on. Thanks Bro...

well so much for getting a new video out this week...sorry guys..i am in the middle of the dvd series..we have the tool box done and ready to ship come monday,i just finished shooting the step stool, and started the first half of the kitchen/dining table..some time before christmas we will finish the table and start the side chair or slant top desk which will cover all the things after its assembled with drawers..that means we will cover base moulding, ogee bracket feet, pigeon hole construction, bread board lid, fitting lid and all the hardware..so needless to say..i am busy building all these projects to various degrees..i spoke with david and a tec friend about getting a live feed with multi camera function around the shop ..i will keep you posted on the progress with that..i think it is the best way to for you to see the work you are accustomed to and we wont take valuble production time away from our dvds....plus it will be more fun..kinda like to old rough cut show...but better ....elis in the shop now :D

stay tuned!

I saw him at Downes and Reader this afternoon. I waved hello to him but was in the middle of loading up the car. By the time i was done and ready to say hello he had already driven away. :o

Sounds good Tommy.... Having Eli as your straight guy will be fun... But I have to say you need to make sure Al comes by for some Special Guest Appearances.

Rat.

Downes and Readers has to be a lumber store and not a book store... Wait, do they sell super caffeinated beverages there too?

Hey, guys,

We have 2 of the cameras installed for the live feed. They're really cool. We're going to set up an instant messenger on the website so you can ask us questions like "why did you do it like that?" and "Isn't that piece upside down?" And then we can shake our fists at you.

In the meantime, I've been finishing up a plexiglass system for hanging a train track from the ceiling, Tommy's getting things ready to shoot the parts of the table and slant top DVD's on Monday, and David just finished up the step stool DVD, which should be available around Christmas.

We're also starting preparations for the home show, which will be in full swing after the holidays (the preparations, not the show).

Thanks for sticking around, and keep up the great work! The forum is really yours, and it's my favorite furniture site, so, well done!

Eli

I am really looking forward to the Slant Desk DVD. I ran across some really nice figured Maple that would be perfect for this project. Count me in to buy it when its ready!
